HNT

Half-Nekkid Thursday. I'm not sure if you've heard of this or not, but it's a big thing in the blogging community. Basically, the participants publish half-naked photos of themselves or others to their blogs. Personally, I think this is lame. (Sorry 37) If I wanted to see a picture of Jessica Alba or worse - your fat gross baby belly (sorry Echo's wife) - I'd look it up on the internet. I read blogs to be entertained and this HNT thing is so stupid to me. If you want to publish your pictures, just do it; be an exhibitionist, be artful. But don't hide behind an idea spawned from some old rapist trombone player in Montana.

To you, HNT: http://www.spicenews.com/pix/melc60.jpg
(yes, that's me... fucking paprazzi)

For the sake of humanity, I hope you never have a "fat gross baby belly". It would be an injustice to your child.

For what it's worth, my wife's "fat gross baby belly" is now within 1 inch of its former "flat, gorgeous, beautiful, (and) buff" shape. And our daughter (which by the way came from that "fat gross baby belly") is doing wonderfully as she approaches the end of her 3rd month of life.

If you don't want to look at HNT posts, don't. It's that simple.

well said, echo. if you don't like it, don't look at it. passing judgement on someone's appearance(especially on a woman who is like 36 months pregnant) and apologizing for it in the same sentence is akin to poking someone in the eye and then say "whoops, was that your eye i just poked?".

if you are so oppinionated about someone's appearance, let's take a look at you.

Yeah, I'm a bad person blah blah blah. Seriously, tell us something we don't know.

It is true, baby bellies simply ARE fat and gross! I'm so tired of seeing them bloating out from under too-short shirts, especially the bellies with those dark, hairy lines down the middle, and seeing distended belly buttons poking out through thin fabrics. People, please cover those bulges up. They are right up there with "plumber's crack" showing and hairy underarms: part of nature, but must you share it with the rest of us? Most people don't want to see your baby belly any more than your butt crack.
